In the 2023 Comprehensive Integrity Assessment of Public Institutions conducted by the Anti Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, the Korea Fair Trade Commission ranked first grade, the highest grade among 25 ministerial central administrative agencies. In recognition of its efforts to implement anti-corruption and integrity organizations by leading the way, the FTC was awarded a newspaper (book) for the commendation and injury of the Prime Minister in the field of anti-corruption, and received a reward of 8 million won.
As a central administrative agency, the FTC donated the entire reward to the Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea to take the lead in social responsibility as well as creating a culture of integrity. The Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea is the only legal fundraising and distribution institution in Korea with the symbol of "Fruit of Love", and it is an institution that supports private welfare projects such as children, adolescents, the disabled, the elderly, and multicultural families by collecting national donations.
The FTC plans to continue to make efforts to create a more trusted FTC status by actively promoting various anti-corruption and integrity policies in the future.
