"Platform Private Autonomous Organization" held a "Platform Autonomous Organization Self-Regulation Plan Presentation" at 2 p.m. on May 11 (Thursday) and announced self-regulatory measures prepared by four affiliated divisions (A, consumers and users, data, artificial intelligence, innovation sharing, and governance).

The presentation was attended by major platform operators, members who participated in each division of platform autonomous organizations, including related business organizations, small and medium-sized business organizations, consumer organizations, and private experts, as well as government officials, including Han Ki-jung, chairman of the Fair Trade Commission, Lee Jong-ho, Minister of Science and ICT, and Kim Hyo-jae, a standing member of the Korea Communications Commission.

The 「Platform Private Autonomous Organization」 is a discussion body formed by the private sector to come up with self-regulatory measures in the platform market.

At today's presentation, self-regulatory measures prepared by four divisions were announced one after another, and specifically, self-regulatory measures in the open market sector, rapid response to collective damage to open market consumers, self-regulatory principles to enhance transparency in platform search and recommendation services, and eight principles to increase the social value of the platform were announced.
